The Quasi Box Brainery (QB^2) was born from a single observation: students are asked to choose a life direction before they have had a chance to explore their options.

Who We Are

Traditional classrooms teach subjects, they rarely teach students how those subjects unfold in the real world. QB^2 was built to fill that gap, not to replace the classroom.

QB^2 utilizes a unique educational model to enhance students’ creativity and innovation through immersion of theory and hands-on practical experiences. We allow students to be unfettered in ideas of their academic journey and potential career paths as we unleash possibilities that can emerge from the subject matter and content they are taught in a traditional classroom environment.

The modules of QB^2 are designed to prepare students to forge new paths in a rapidly evolving workforce to encourage and demonstrate that the notion of a ‘dream job’ could become reality.

We are not a college counseling service nor do we guarantee college admissions.

Dr. W. founded The Quasi Box Brainery to give students a space to ask career seeking questions, explore paths that aren’t usually in the school catalog, and envision their dream job as more than just a fantasy, but as a direction worth exploring.

As an educator with over twenty years of experience teaching and mentoring in tertiary education, coupled with a long history of creating hands-on STEM workshops and experiential learning experiences for students from primary school through college, Dr. W. has worked with students at every stage of their academic journey. She built The Quasi Box Brainery to bridge the gap between high school transcripts full of courses and the ability to experience how those courses unfold in the real world. The Quasi Box is a resource she wished had existed for every student who has sat across from her and not known where to start on their career path.

Her approach is grounded in the same pedagogical principles she has applied across two decades in the classroom: that students learn best when theory meets practice and curiosity is not a distraction from rigor but the engine of it. The resources, guides, quizzes, and programs of The Quasi Box Brainery are designed to encompass that experience.
